“She has a beautiful smile, she’s warm and she’s gonna win her audience over! ...
She has that undefinable soul that that reaches to the song and makes it stand out.”

Michel Dupuis – CIBL 101,5 FM

BIOGRAPHY

During her graduate years at the École de Musique Vincent d’Indy and at University of Montreal Nathalie Albert participated in many projects as an interpreter. She embraced musical comedy as well as classical, contemporary and pop music, and, of course, jazz.

Her passion for musical comedy brought her to display her talent in West Side Story, Damn Yankee and the show Broadway, staged by Patrick Morin.

In 2001, she received a scholarship from the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec that allowed her to improve her training in classical singing.

She recorded soundtracks for Kim Nguyen’s movie Le Marais, and for theatre.

Ex-member of the vocal trio Moonlight Girls, she performed at the Festival International de Jazz de Montréal, at the Festi jazz de Rimouski and at Les Maisons de la culture de Montréal.

As a soloist, she is invited to the October Blues de Joliette (2006, 2007, 2008 and 2010), the Festival Jazz & Blues Saguenay (2007), and to the Montreal and Hull Casinos. Following the release of her first solo album, last September, Nathalie Albert presented her show “No More Blues” accompanied by Francis Tétu and Christian Leclair.
